Counseling/Therapy Service operates as a Private Practice. The primary clinician is Carol Christensen, LMFT. The services address social, psychological, emotional, physical and spiritual needs that represent an understanding of the person as a whole, and the context of their life. The purpose is not just to ameliorate the symptom, but to help individuals, couples and families to change, grow, and enrich their lives in a healthy, productive manner.
Carol Christensen has a degree in Social Work and Marriage and Family Therapy at the Masters Level. She has 18 years of clinical experience in Community Mental Health and has had a Private Practice for approximately 18 years. She has worked extensively with Children and Adults who have experienced abuse and had coordinated the Physical & Sexual Abuse team for St. Croix County. She has taught in the Sociology Department of River Falls University, and has worked as a Medical and Geriatric Social Worker. She has also provided consultation in the area.
